A delicious spicy salmon spaghetti, using store cupboard staples which comes together in less than 30 minutes.
Bring a large pan of water to the boil and add a good pinch of salt, add your spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions
In a heavy based frying pan, add your olive oil, onions and peppers and saute until translucent
Add your spices, tomato puree and salt, and mix, cook together for about 5 minutes on a medium-high heat
At this point, add your raw or tinned salmon and your spinach, and stir through until the salmon is warmed through and cooked to your liking, this should take no longer than 5 minutes if your salmon is in small pieces
Mix through your cooked and drained spaghetti and adding a little of the starchy water it was cooked in if required
Serve immediately!
You can use any fish you like in this recipe, a can of tuna would work really well too.
Feel free to experiment with the greens too! It would work great with some fresh green beans or sweet podded peas too.
